We are delighted to report on our presence at the 7th Annual Virtual Reality and Healthcare Europe Symposium (Health Europe 25), which took place on November 13–14, 2025, in the innovative setting of Reykjavik, Iceland.

The two days spent at the conference, organized at Vinnustofa Kjarval and Reykjavik University, proved to be a time of intensive knowledge exchange, strategic partnership building, and enthusiastic testing of our solution for Fobos.tech. Below are our key takeaways from this groundbreaking event.

The Network of Strategic Contacts: The Foundation for VR Technology Development in Medicine

The conference, bringing together leaders in XR (Extended Reality) technology, researchers, and decision-makers from the medical sector, was an exceptional opportunity for us to build relationships. We successfully established many interesting contacts that are crucial for the international development of Fobos.tech. Discussions with figures like Bala Kamallakharan from Iceland Venture Studio, and visionaries from the clinical world, opened doors to new financing opportunities and R&D collaboration.

Our Solution Receives Positive Feedback from Industry Experts

Our time in Iceland was utilized not only for listening but primarily for presenting. We are proud to report on the enthusiastic, informal tests of Fobos by industry veterans. We witnessed key researchers and practitioners in the field of immersive medicine evaluating our solution.

The positive feedback received about the solution—praising its intuitiveness, potential, and the economics of deployment based on smartphones and Cardboard devices—serves as the most valuable confirmation that the direction taken by Fobos.tech aligns with its positioning in the value chain and the real needs of patients and therapists.

Knowledge: The Scientific Level of the Conference

From the first to the last presentation, the symposium maintained an exceptionally high substantive level. The panel discussion on scaling immersive technologies in healthcare systems and lectures on the use of VR in meditation for astronauts (Dr. Dagan Loisel and Dr. Melissa VanderKaay) demonstrated the high scientific value of the lectures and discussion panels. Particularly inspiring were the presentations by Dr. Skip Rizzo from USC on the evolution of virtual humans in clinical VR, as well as the speech by Dr. Paolo Gargiulo from Reykjavik University, who presented the groundbreaking RAIL project, utilizing VR/AR in surgical planning and education.

Iceland – A Source of Inspiration

The Health Europe 25 conference took place in a setting that is an inspiration in itself—against the backdrop of Iceland’s beauty. The raw, yet breathtaking landscapes, geysers, and the pure, primal nature of Iceland served as a symbolic metaphor for the clarity and power of ideas that are born in the world of innovation. Staying in Reykjavik, a capital of innovation, allowed us to draw energy from the unique spirit of this place, which will undoubtedly translate into our continued work on improving the Fobos.tech solution.
